After safety and quality, corporate ethics and compliance is the third agenda item discussed at every meeting. We have a Corporate Compliance Department dedicated to training and assessing projects to ensure that they are in full compliance with the latest codes and regulations. In addition, every project develops its own project compliance plan, based on the unique requirements of the contract and regional laws. All projects are self-assessed at 15%, 33% and 66% complete, and at least twice a year.
Our corporate Ethics and Compliance Program is designed with efficient, effective corporate controls that demonstrate our full, proactive compliance with all laws, regulations, contract requirements, policies and procedures. It is comprised of three parts: an approach to management understanding and involvement; organization structure and support; and plan components including risk assessments, training and education, compliance assessments; and disciplinary measures.
Our ethics and compliance behavior is a total commitment that involves every employee, crosses all departments and impacts everything we do. That means not only conducting our business with the highest ethical standards and within the laws and regulations that govern our business – but also doing it in accordance with our own policies and procedures.
