FIELDS POINT LNG FACILITY

With a capacity of 20 million standard cubic feet per day, the additions to this small-scale natural gas treatment and liquefaction facility provided safe, reliable and cost-effective means for meeting peak demand. This expansion scope included gas pretreatment, compression and nitrogen cycle liquefaction with electric-driven compressors. With careful planning and interfaces, work was performed in and around the existing facility without plant shutdowns.

Auxiliary equipment associated with this project included:

• New electric service and associated electrical transformers
• Electric motor-driven feed gas booster compressor
• Motor control center (MCC)
• Molecular sieve and dehydration pre-treatment
• Molecular sieve regeneration heater
• Nitrogen storage (N2 cycle liquefaction)
• Emergency generator for safety and control systems.
• Gas compression
• LNG storage tank
• Fin-fan process coolers
