MEC designed and built a 69- and 15kV switchgear for a new generation tie-in to an existing substation. The scope included installation of a 69-/15kV transformer and 69kV circuit breakers, modifications to the existing protective relay system for additional equipment, and installation of new supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and remote terminal unit systems.
