This EPC for a 967MWdc solar facility included a multiple 34.5kV overhead collection circuit tying the solar field back to the substation. Of 26 underground circuits, 22 are picked up by 12 overhead collection circuits and transported to the substation. The overhead collection system consists of 740 wood poles, over 188,000 linear circuit feet (more than 564,000 linear feet) of conductor, 26 riser structures and switches, and a large 1590 Lapwing ACSR (aluminum conductor steel-reinforced) overhead conductor.
