This EPC contract included a 1,250-MW, natural-gas-powered facility capable of powering more than 1.25 million homes and businesses. The 2x1x1 combined-cycle plant includes two GE 7HA.02 gas combustion turbines, two heat recovery steam generators and two steam turbines. The facility uses dry cooling through two air cooled condensers for condensing turbine exhaust steam and fin fan coolers for removing heat from auxiliary loads.
