Quality management is a dynamic process that requires constant planning and continual improvement. MEC’s Quality Team is in charge of continually monitoring the quality management process to ensure that our ultimate goal, “to meet or exceed the owner’s expectations” are being met. We approach quality from the top-down. Quality is not the sole responsibility of the field staff and crews. Instead, it is the responsibility of every MEC employee.

“I wanted to make you aware of the outstanding support provided by Kevin and Jesse. After arriving at the splice point located in Wayland, we found that the existing conduit was broken, our cable was buried, the ground was frozen and the man hole flooded. While I saw these obstacles as potentially forcing a reschedule, your team did not. Kevin and Jesse dug out the buried cable, identified the break in the conduit, found the fiber and splice case (under water) and completed the pole transfer / aerial to underground transition. This was done while keeping the total effort within the communicated time table and with only a 3 hour window from fiber cut to restoration.
